About Cierra
Cierra
Cierra is a voice coach based in Payson, Utah who helps students ages 12 and up develop healthy, confident, and expressive singing.
Her studio is built around a simple belief: the voice is an instrument. Students can learn how it works, how healthy singing should feel, and how to use their voice with greater control, confidence, and joy.
Cierra’s Background
Cierra brings a broad background of vocal training, teaching, and performance to her studio. Her experience includes college-level training, private voice instruction, ongoing professional development, local performing groups, and private recital-style voice coaching.
She has taught voice privately on and off for more than 15 years and has worked with students from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels.
Her performance experience includes local festivals, Christmas programs, Fourth of July events, church performances, recitals, and community music events.
Ongoing Training and Collaboration
Cierra’s teaching is also shaped by continued participation in a voice teaching cohort with her original longtime voice coach and other local teachers.
Through this group, she continues to study, collaborate, and refine her approach so her students receive thoughtful, well-supported instruction.
Teaching Approach
Cierra’s teaching style is warm, professional, encouraging, and technique focused. She helps students understand what they are doing with their voice rather than simply copying sounds or memorizing songs.
Lessons are personalized to the student’s age, goals, experience level, and musical interests, with an emphasis on healthy habits that can support singing over time.
Why Voice Lessons Matter
Voice lessons are not only for future professionals. They can help students grow in confidence, develop discipline, better understand their body and breath, and experience the joy of using their voice in a healthy and meaningful way.
For many students, singing becomes more than an activity. It becomes a lifelong source of learning, expression, and joy.
